How we rate crypto cards
Every card on CryptoCardIndia uses the same editorial system. Scores are recomputed from card data whenever it changes — never hand-picked, and never sold.
Fees
Virtual and physical issuance, monthly fees, crypto conversion, FX, ATM, top-up and shipping costs.
Rewards
Base cashback, categories, staking or yield, welcome and referral bonuses.
Privacy
How much KYC and personal data is collected, and whether the card is custodial or self-custodial.
Trust
Licensing and regulation, card network, security practices, track record and community sentiment.
India fit
On top of the four core dimensions, we flag India-specific factors: whether a card accepts Indian residents and Indian KYC documents, whether it supports INR top-ups, and whether it ships to India. These affect how practical a card is locally but do not by themselves raise or lower the core score.
Editorial independence
Affiliate relationships never affect scores or rankings. Where we do not have enough verified data to score a card confidently, we say so rather than guess.
